JOURNAL WRITING (10 journals to be submitted along with the !cover page! on 2 Jan)

Guidelines:
- Each journal should have the length of at least 100 words.
- It could be written neatly on a foolscap, or type-written.
- The purpose of the writing is to demostrate understanding of at least 5 words in a given week. You need to underline these 5 words in your journal.

Write about a boring lecture you have attended.

The lecturer droned on and on. In our hearts, we were lamenting what bad luck we had to be badgered into attending this lecture on "Immunology". What drudgery! If only we could escape from it all, unfortunately, we were seated right in front, under the watchful eyes of our form teacher who was just right behind us. We could not even move an inch; otherwise, she would definitely perceive us negatively. Our fate would be sealed forever.

After what seemed to be an interminable wait, the lecturer announced that there would be a five-minute break. Five minutes only! We were to return for the second part of the lecture on "Friendly virus".

Hello, for the backlash of of angry feelings.

Regarding the class fund / class chalet matter, i have no idea why my message never got across to everyone, only a certain few in this class.

For the miscommunication, sorry. There wasn't any chance to actually rephrase the message and tell everyone again. In your own groups, i believed you all have discussed much about your unhappiness and have found common grounds.

To that, I don't find a need to elaborate more.

As for the class fund matters, to prevent if from getting out of hand, it will (hopefully) be settled on Monday during Interaction. Whatever that has happened on Thursday is not a start to War. War will not begun. Please stop carrying the wrong mindset.

Hello FG,

The Guys would be having a chalet @ Pasir Ris this june holidays right?
So now i would like to announce that the Girls will be organizing one too :D

Please judge your ability to attend based on you and only yourself and parent's permission, not your clique's attendance. Please be more cooperative and more sporting okay.

We don't have much time to bond and spend time AS A CLASS together... its gonna be mid-years soon. Please do not let some trivial matters affect the class as a whole. If there are any differences between you, please just put it all down and settle it amiably.

The girls, please be more sporting! Don't always just sit/talk/play with your own clique, try to interact with the rest. And by the rest, i mean the boys too. Eh boys, girls tend to be shy la, so can you all please take the initiative in striking up a conversation :D A friendly Hi, or Bye can really make someone's day you know...

Hello Forgiveness!
Most of you guys would be at camp now... so happy camping :D

When Term Two starts, i hope to be able to set up a few study groups according to your cca timings and etc.
So we'd be more prepared for SA1 and not always be mugging every morning before tests.

Please form them according to abilities. For example, those who are weaker in Math and Science can try to find some classmates whom are better in that subject and you can coach them in those that you are stronger in. This isn't a time for you to strengthen your bond with your own cliques, but try to interact with other people!

So i hope to get some response (when you guys get back from camp) and hopefully it would help with your bonding and eventually your academic results.
